CONNECTION, COMPASSION, COMMUNITY.

Connection, compassion, community… These three values are at the core of how I live my life and the work that I do.

 

Since I was a child I have always known I want to be a teacher. I’ve been fortunate to spend the last 16 years exploring many different facets of the education world. From a public school classroom to homeschool, preschool to private teaching, tutoring to consulting… all of these experiences have brought me to where I am today.

 

I also spend a lot of time volunteering in my community. I have held different positions on boards, chaired committees, organized events, projects and fundraisers and written successful grant applications for different projects.

I am a firm believer in life long learning and embody this philosophy personally. I enjoy learning and am always taking courses and professional development to stay current and broaden my scope of knowledge.
